In effort to turn their lives around, several young men and women joined Storycatchers Theatre, for a 16-week program to create a play of, “Struggling In The Streets.” A read aloud of the progress to date was held during July. They are participating in a 6-week ummer intern program in conjunction with the University of Chicago, After School Matters and GADC. These are no ordinary “mappers. This year, five interns were selected to analyze five years of asset data to propose a civicly engaged project of the felt is most needed by the communities we serve.
