For the past 13 years, community leaders have managed to transform Auburn-Gresham area into a peaceful, approachable neighborhood for families of all ages to enjoy the 79th Street Renaissance Festival. Their work continues to inspire and promote change in the community in hopes of expanding the festival to cater to an even larger audience for years to come.
Razzmatazz, the family fun center, and Chicago Indoor Sports, a multipurpose sports facility, are two of Chicago’s most hidden gems. Based on Chicago’s South-West side, this joint facility offers entertainment for the entire family.
Razzmatazz is equipped with games that are suitable for all ages. Ranging from one or two player immersive video games, such as Jurassic World and Aliens Armageddon, to physical interactive experiences like Down the Clown or Color Crush. Over 70% of the games and attractions offer a chance to win points that can be exchanged for prizes varying between small candy and PS4! Last Friday morning, June 1, 2018 students at Perspectives led their 5th Annual Peace March with nearly 2,000 participants strong. Our students were joined by staff, parents, friends, community leaders, and corporate partners to unify for a peaceful summer.
Our students led with passion and certainty as they rallied the community to stand for peace.
