Auburn Gresham’s Foster Park is hosting a Halloween for a creepy haunted house, for kids. The Chicago Park District event is slated for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, October 31st, at the neighborhood Foster Park at 1440 W. 84th St. The cost of the haunted house is $3 per person.
The 19th annual “Opera in the Neighborhoods” tour will be at Simeon, 8141 S. Vincennes Ave., on Oct. 28 for two performances of “The Brothers Grimm. Third through sixth grades at nearby Auburn Gresham GOLD School, Westcott Elementary, 409 W. 80th St., will walk down the street to attend the performance!
Whole Foods Market is partnering with the City and the Greater Englewood Community Development Corporation to host a three series workshop forum for small businesses. These workshops will help minimize the barriers of starting a business and to help businesses explore the opportunity of doing business with Whole Foods Market.
