TV mom of “That’s so Raven” and “In Living Color” actress (T’Keyah Crystal Kemah) and House Music icon (Farley Jackmaster Funk) joined Delece Williams and the Kidz Korna organization in an effort to help stop the violence through the spirit of giving in their childhood neighborhood, Auburn Gresham.

The fourth and final 2011 installment of Illinois Health Matters “Neighborhood Stories” has been released. This installment features the article “Mind the Information Gap: Few Chicagoans Understanding Health Reform,” by renowned journalist Judith Graham. The article highlights the challenges that face implementation of health care reform in Chicago communities. 

Chicago’s South Side neighborhoods are often – unfairly – lumped together as one big homogenous place. But the South Side is a patchwork of distinct neighborhoods, filled with the kinds of characters and day-to-day stories that don’t always make headlines. 

The Auburn Gresham community would like to pay special tribute to Mrs. Maggie Daley and her constant support of Auburn Gresham youth through After School Matters.
