In response to the growing number of nonprofit organizations losing tax-exempt status, Valerie F. Leonard, will discuss nonprofit compliance on the state and federal levels on the Nonprofit “U” blog radio talk show. As a resident of the south side Chicago community, Auburn Gresham since 1964, Ms. Johnnie Williams has seen a lot of changes over the years. Back when she was 13 years old the neighborhood represented a mix of approximately 50 percent mostly Irish families and the other half mostly black ones. It was her parents who purchased the multi-unit building that today she still lives in with her son, daughter-in-law and her two grand-kids in one unit, and her mother in the other unit.
