After a traumatic experience, in addition to physical healing, there is a need for spiritual and emotional healing. Trauma-informed programs for violence recovery include a range of services designed to facilitate the wellbeing of everyone impacted by trauma. Trauma can include instances of domestic violence, sexual abuse, community violence and catastrophic accidents.
Host Carl West and providers of violence recovery services will discuss available programs and the need for increased resources throughout the city.
