The People’s TIF’s

Carolina Gaete and Cecile Carroll DeMello, Co-Directors of Blocks Together, will be guests on the Nonprofit “U” radio blog talk show on Monday, July 6, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Nonprofit “U” is a forum where nonprofit stakeholders can discuss the latest developments in the sector and increase their capacity to serve their clients and build sustainable communities. Auburn Gresham Digital Youth Network Sends Condolences for “Brother Mike” Hawkins

Chicago poet, activist, mentor, and multimedia educator Mike Hawkins, better known as Brother Mike, has died at age 38, according to several sources close to Hawkins. Brother Mike’s services are Wednesday December 10th 11am-2pm Second Baptist Church, 1717 Benson Ave Evanston, IL. Celebration of Life, December 21st, 2-8pm Little Black Pearl, 1060 E. 47th.

Project Tech Teens Making a Difference

We are looking to teach 50 students, especially girls, from underserved communities in Chicago, howe to build mobile apps this summer. Think. Build.
