Harmony Health Plan Incentive Programs Promote Positive Health Outcomes for Its Members and Their Babies

In Illinois, one in eight infants is born to a mother who did not get all recommended prenatal care. Without this care, mothers are three times more likely to deliver babies with health problems. Regular prenatal visits help to monitor the pregnancy and identify problems or complications before they become serious. To promote positive health outcomes for its members and their babies, Harmony Health Plan, Inc., has developed two incentive programs designed to reward providers for delivering quality care and members for obtaining recommended care.

UI Health’s Mile Square adds new school-based clinic at Drake Elementary

The University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System will renovate and operate a new federally-qualified, school-based health center, in 2017 at Bronzeville’s John B. Drake Elementary School, nearby schools, and Dearborn Homes, one of the last remaining public housing communities of the former State Street corridor.

The Well-Woman Project Wants to Hear Your Story before June 30th!

June is the last month for women to share their story with the Well-Woman Project about the conditions in their lives that make it easy or challenging to get preventive care and be healthy. The first 10 participants in the month of June who share their stories will receive a $25 Walmart gift card. After that, June submissions receive a $5 gift card.
