St. Bernard Hospital will host its annual community blood drive Friday July 19, 2013 from 11a.m. to 5p.m. at the hospital located at 326 West 64th Street in Chicago. The blood drive seeks to tackle a significant lack of donors from the South Side neighborhoods served by the hospital, as well as the significant shortfall in blood supplies.

Auburn Gresham High Schools (Perspectives, St. Leo, Robinson) march from their schools, to the corner of 79th and Racine to hold a Rally for Peace, celebrating I Care for Peace Week. Not because parents and teachers forced them to…because they care about restoring and maintaining peace in the community where they live and attend school.

The Christian values of giving and compassion are put into action at St. Bernard Hospital where their Adopt-A-Family program, now in its 20th year, provides baskets of food and toys for area families.
Free Diabetes and Kidney Screening
St. Bernard Hospital along with Illinois State Representative Esther Golar (D), will host a free health fair for school-age children on Saturday October 13, 2012 from 10am until 4pm.
